Dr. Philip Prioleau has American Board certification in Dermatology, Dermatopathology, General Surgery, and Pathology. He specializes in treating skin cancer and performs Mohs Micrographic Surgery.
Dr. Prioleau grew up in Charleston, South Carolina, and attended the Medical University of South Carolina. His General Surgery training was at the University of Virginia Medical Center, where he was Chief Resident. He then pursued Plastic Surgery at Duke University, where he was also Chief Resident. At Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, he held a National Cancer Institute Research Service Award and was a fellow in Surgical Pathology and Instructor in Pathology. He studied dermatopathology at New York University, where he was Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Assistant Professor of Clinical Pathology. His clinical training in Dermatology was at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Prioleau is currently Clinical Associate Professor at Weill-Cornell School of Medicine and Associate Attending Physician at the New York-Presbyterian Medical Center.
